Out on the farm the afternoon chores have come to a sudden standstill — a fluffy little lamb has wandered away from the barnyard and the farmer cannot find her anywhere! Students pull on their boots and head out to search, working purposefully through 20 charming farm themed clipart target word pictures on each board and delivering their best late sound production on every single card as the barnyard mystery unfolds across the rolling fields. The search grows more urgent and exciting with every picture until that precious woolly lamb is finally discovered tucked away in her hiding spot, and students walk her home to stand proudly beside the farmer in front of the haystack where she belongs.
