Description: If your students need help with avoiding run-on sentences in their writing, this deck can help! First, they will get a brief review of what run-on sentences are (comma splices and fused sentences), and then there are 20 practice cards for them to choose which of the given sentences is a run-on. Finally, there are 5 additional cards to choose the incorrect sentence and then rewrite it using one of the three methods to fix the run-on sentence. Note that the last five have open-ended answers, so students will not get immediate feedback on that part of the card, only on the multiple-choice portion.
