Description: This activity targets 10 tier-2 vocabulary words that are commonly found in Kindergarten curriculum. The first 10 cards contain the word definition and a picture. The next 10 cards have students identify a synonym for each word from a field of 4. You can use this activity to teach vocabulary, or take baselines on receptive vocabulary. This can be used individually or in small group interventions, such as speech therapy, reading intervention, or English Language Development interventions.
