Description: 7 games in one deck! First, a free-play tutorial for students who have never played tic tac toe. The six game boards for /-er/ in various word and consonant contexts. Two boards for each phonetic context, one with fixed images, and one with movable images to make it fully customizable. Note: this deck focuses on speech, not on reading; words are not all spelled with '-er'. Different students find different phonetic contexts lend to a clearer 'er' sound than other contexts. These different game boards can be used as probes to determine a good starting point for your student. The Mixed 'er' game boards can be used as a final generic set of words to determine carryover. All decks allow both word level and phrase/sentence level practice. This deck is intended to be used by a speech-language therapist during therapy sessions with clients/students. It therefore not intended to have Visual, Audio, or Motor Accessibility, which would defeat the purpose of the identification of pictures and the clients/students need to practice speaking words and to move (drag) some pictures.
