Description: 20 high frequency words are included for students to listen to and repeat: my, by, why, way, may, play, away, here, where, about, again, which, when, what, like, make, time, line, have, and had. Students can practice alone and/or with a partner, volunteer, teacher, tutor, small group, or the whole class! This item has an additional yes and no function, so the student can identify which words he or she believes were read correctly or to allow another individual to identify it for the student. This function permits the teacher to use their account in order to monitor which words were correct and which words need practice. :) Most of these words are from the Pre-Primer to First Grade Dolch Word lists, the first and second 100 word groups on the Fry Sight Words list, and/or the 1st to 3rd levels of Rebecca Sitton's h.f.w. list.
