Description: These 52 task cards have 2 different kinds of differentiated slides. • 26 cards with the letter and the sound. Each picture has the word under it and the beginning letter larger and green. There are 3 pictures to choose from. (2 pictures are wrong and 1 is correct) • 26 cards with the letter and the sound. Each picture does not have the word with it so your student/child can sound it out on their own. There are 3 pictures to choose from. (2 pictures are wrong and 1 is correct) The "U" sound sounds like "oo" for "udon noodles" and the "I" sound is long for "ice cream". *You can "HIDE" certain cards if you want a particular student to work on the first 26 slides or if you want another one to work on the next 26 slides which makes it nice for differentiation. Look at the HELP section on "Hiding cards". These cards are aligned to Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards- Language/Literacy. With modeling and support, I can recognize the sounds associated with letters.
