Description: The Sticker Game is a digital version of one of my students' favorite games. It is two for the price of one given the reinforcement activity is built in! This resource offers 4 variations of the layout enabling students to play multiple times with varied outcomes. Students of ALL ages love the surprise element of this game! Player 1 picks a card. The target idiom is modeled/elicited. Target idioms: I’m all ears, When pigs fly, Time flies, Sick as a dog, Piece of cake, Hold Your Horses, Head in the clouds, Cry over spilt milk, Cold shoulder, and Apple of my eye. Student moves the card to see if there is a sticker under it. If there is, they drag and drop the sticker to the box labeled Player 1 and their turn ends. If there isn’t, it is Player 2’s turn. Player 2 picks a card. The target idiom is modeled/elicited. They move their card to see if there is a sticker under it. If there is, Player 2 drags and drops the sticker to the box labeled Player 2 and their turn ends. If there isn’t, it is Player 1’s turn. The action cards can be discarded by swiping them off the left or right side of the page. Play continues until all the cards are gone. Player with the most stickers wins giving you an awesome opportunity to work on the concepts more/less throughout game play. Want to play again? Hit the home button on each slide to easily return to the table of contents. Your students will love this engaging activity! As always, happy learning!
