This deck is designed to target the deletion of syllables in words. Perfect to work with all grades and ages - just choose to target deleting the initial or final syllable! It targets the deletion of the initial and final syllables in compound words - 45 cards for Initial syllable (word) deletion - 45 cards for final syllable (word) deletion 3 options are given to choose from to provide visual cues - the original word, the correct answer, and the syllable to be deleted. Moveable blocks cover the words for the pictures. These can be moved if you need a clue for the target word, but they are covered so that the students don't have the written form of the word to work with, and rather rely on developing their auditory skills.
