Description: This deck addresses the phonological process of stopping through 2 concept games (interactive scenes) and interactive minimal pairs cards. There are 8 cards per sound pattern in each word position, for a total of 72 cards. The following minimal pairs are targeted: F/P initial; F/P final V/B initial; V/P final S/D initial S/T initial; S/T final SH/T initial; Sh/T final - Long airflow concept game: This game subset features 3 road scenes, a long snake, and a short snake. The snakes serve as conceptual examples for long and short sounds. Both snakes are draggable and may be moved (slid) across the road to illustrate long airflow. -Short airflow concept game: This game subset features 3 road scenes, 2 cars, and a stop sign. The cars are draggable. Drag one car across the road to illustrate long airflow. Move the other car up to the stop sign to illustrate short airflow. -Minimal pairs cards: Each card contains one contrastive word set. Placement visuals for the target sounds are located in the upper right-hand corner of the card. Manner visuals are located in the lower left-hand corner of each card (snake for fricative, stop sign for stops). The left-hand grid contains draggable, place and manner cues. These may be dragged and placed on the card as the student produces the target words.
