Description
Review and practice the state capitals with multiple choice and fill in the blank tasks. Some cards give the state and students choose the correct capital. Other cards give the capital and students choose the correct state. I like to mix up the presentation to be sure they have really learned them because sometimes students memorize the states and the associated capital, but when it is presented in the reverse (give the capital and need to name the state), students can have difficulty. The fill in the blank cards are also helpful for practicing the spelling of the capital and state names.
