Need a quick activity to target vocabulary with your middle schoolers? This BOOM CARDTM deck includes 40 cards targeting 5th and 6th tier 2 vocabulary words (20 cards for each grade). Each vocabulary word is defined and used in a sentence to help students learn the meaning. Then, students are asked to identify two synonyms and two antonyms for each word, as well as create a sentence using the target word. This deck is a great way to teach understanding and use of tier two vocabulary words!
