Description: 3 types of Interactive task cards that encourage kids to learn face and colour vocabulary both receptively and productively. Based on Go Away Big Green Monster by Ed Emberley, kids follow instructions to create different monsters, change monsters and finally create and describe their own monsters. Cards 1 - 10: Kids can listen, read and then drag the pieces into place. Each card contains a range of body parts of different colours that the children have to select correctly before moving onto the next card. Cards 11-15: Again kids listen and read but with these cards they have to move the correct body parts into the trash. Just like in the story, the children can have a good giggle at making the monster disappear! Cards 16-20: These cards will accept any combination of body parts so the kids can get creative making their own monsters and then describing them. Why not take some screenshots that you can come back to in another session. Can they remember whose monster is whose? You could even print them and create a nice display or even use them in a writing activity. All audio is in Scottish Standard English.
