Description: This Point of View Sorting Activity is for 2nd and 3rd grade and includes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person point of view. Students look for pronouns and then determine if the statement is written in first person, second person, or third person point of view. They will then sort these into envelopes based on if they are first, second, or third person point of view. This point of view sorting deck includes: 12 task cards (6 point of view instructional cards and 6 point of view sorting task cards.) • Task cards 1-6 are instructional cards that not only give your students the definition of point of view but also explains first, second, and third person point of view with examples. • Task cards 6-12 all have 6 statement that your students will need to sort into the correct folder. This makes a total of 36 statements that your students will need to determine the point of view and place in the correct folder.
