Students can practice applying the method in a range of ways including solving multiplication problems, missing numbers, and true or false questions. The first slide provides an overview of the steps to solving a multiplication equation using an area model. These cards would benefit students who have already been introduced to the area model and are securing their knowledge with additional practice.
