Description

Students will practice listening for details and other receptive language skills as they listen to the clues and try to guess the snowman! There are 3 levels of play (field of 4, field of 8, field of 12). This activity also includes an open ended game with 15 snowmen where students can take turns describing a snowman and guessing which one is being described. You could also use this card to practice asking yes/no questions (like Guess Who) - "Does it have a hat?", "Does it have a scarf?", "Is it wearing mittens?". Finally, students can build their own snowman for a fun reward. This is a fun way to practice giving and following directions. It could also be used as a barrier activity with two devices!
