Description: This respect social story is perfect for autism awareness month. Plan an All About Me to teach students about autism and other disabilities to promote diversity and inclusion. Providing social emotional learning activities about autism for all students is a wonderful opportunity now and always! This is Will You Just Chill Out? (Better ways to help your autistic friend.) 13 slides are the social narrative where you meet a student who has an autistic friend, and he wants to share some better ways to be a friend (rather than telling him to "chill out"). The last 12 slides are interactive and allow students to practice being a good friend. A short scenario is given (e.g., Sometimes my friend gets frustrated and might fall on the floor or get really loud.) Then the student gets to choose from two choices what to do (e.g., Tell him to CHILL OUT or Give him a little space). 6 short scenarios are presented. Watch for more stories coming soon and check my TpT store for extension activities!
