Are you looking for a fun activity to reinforce the beginning R-Blends BR, CR, DR, FR, GR, PR, & TR? This deck has 3 different activities that will do just that! Audio is included on each slide for directions and any r blend words. The first activity is a mystery picture activity that reveals a hidden picture when the 9 cards are completed. On each card students will look at the picture displayed and then find the square on the mystery picture that names the picture. When they drag the correct word to the bubble, they'll click next. If the word is correct, they'll advance to the next card. The picture is revealed word by word. There is sound that will allow your students to hear the word if they're unsure of what is pictured. In the second activity, students will drag the beginning blend to a box correctly complete each word. Again, sound is included in case students need to hear the word. In the final activity, student will drag the scoops of ice cream with words to the ice cream floats that have the pictures of the words. There are three glasses and three ice cream scoops. All words in this activity, except for on one card, have short vowels and are easily decoded. One card has the words cry, fry, & dry. Students can use the beginning blend sound to match them to the correct pictures. Your students will enjoy these engaging and helpful activities!
