Description
This set of Boom Cards has students practice identifying a variety of text and categorizing it appropriately with real world examples. Two different levels are provided with this activity. Level one has THIRTY examples of text where students are asked to categorize whether they are reading a name, a city, or a state. Level two has THIRTY additional examples of text where students are asked to categorize whether they are reading a date, a time, or a price. This is a great activity to build meaningful connections to real world text students may encounter on a variety of forms and other kinds of paperwork.
