Description
Fall practice fun for /s/ /sh/ch/ and /r/ (all word positions) Help your students practice their speech with games. 1) Tic Tac Toe Have the student say their word as they place their picture on the grid 2) Connect Four Have students say the word as they cover the picture with their chip. Be sure to start at the bottom and build up. Win by getting four in a row. 2) Battleship Have the student place his/her four ships in a row or column; three ships in a row or column and then two ships in a row or column by dragging them to the square he/she wants the ships on (the ship will remain on the top of the square when they let go of the mouse). Then have each student try to find his/her friend's ships by using the column and row pictures to identify the square. If the square is not a hit, the student can drag the square to the box on the right. If it is a hit, the student can drag the "X" to the top of the square. Game ends when one student finds all the battleships.
