Description
This interactive GIF movement-themed Boom Card resource of children participating in everyday chores is designed to teach pronouns, verbs, WH questions, and expanding sentences. Each slide includes GIFs of children doing simple everyday chores and several related moveable pieces. Visuals are at the bottom of each page to elicit “who” “ “what” and “where”. Three stacked circles that match the visuals on each page could be used to cover the visual as each sentence structure is expressed. Kids could also imitate the simple movements. You could give directions for moveable items or have the student tell you where to put the items. Also, the images could be used as conversation starters for students working on carryover of skills in articulation and fluency, and sentence formulation and expansion. The language targets are endless with this activity.
