Description: Target multiple expressive and receptive language goals in speech therapy with this Valentine's Day Boom Cards activity! Your students will love exploring the theme of creating and mailing valentines, and they won't even notice how much language they're using. With multiple activities within the deck, there's something for each student in the group and on your caseload. ✅ The first activity uses pictures, text, and audio description to TEACH the steps of creating a mailing a valentine. ✅ Next, students drag and drop pictures to SEQUENCE the 6 steps in the correct order. ✅ Then, each of the 6 steps is shown on its own card (in the proper order) so that students can formulate a SENTENCE to describe the step by talking or typing a response. ✅ Finally, students FOLLOW DIRECTIONS for making valentines by dragging and dropping digital stickers onto cards. There are 25 directions, and they become increasingly more complex with added concepts such as conditional, quantity, and exclusion vocabulary. Multiple features of this deck make it easy to use in any speech therapy setting! ✅ The same VOCABULARY and CONCEPTS are used and reinforced throughout the deck ✅ A clickable MENU CARD allows for quick navigation throughout. ✅ PICTURES and BUILT-IN AUDIO of all text support students working at different levels. ✅ Various RESPONSE TYPES (drag and drop, fill-in-the-blank, recorded audio) engage students in multiple ways. ✅ Activities VARY IN COMPLEXITY so have something for everyone!
