Description: This type of sentences sort deck includes anchor charts and task cards. It provides anchor charts with explanations of declarative sentences, interrogative sentences, imperative sentences, and exclamatory sentences for 2nd-4th grade. Your students will participate in an interactive sorting activity. They will sort sentences into the correct column based on whether they are declarative, interrogative, imperative, or exclamatory. This type of sentences sorting deck includes: 18 task cards (6 anchor charts with definitions of all 4 types of sentences and 12 types of sentences sorting task cards with 3 sentences on each card for a total of 36 sentences for your students to sort). • Task cards 1-6 are instructional cards with definitions of the types of sentences (including declarative, imperative, interrogative, and exclamatory). • Task cards 7-18 are task cards with 3 sentences (without ending marks) that your students need to drag and drop into the correct column in order to choose whether each sentence is declarative, imperative, interrogative, or exclamatory.
