This Boom Deck is a fun way to work on social skills and inferencing! Students can work on what the animal is thinking or doing. They can also verbally predict what will happen next in some of the pictures. Each page includes three pictures and students need to drag the speech bubble to the correct picture. The first set of pictures includes mixtures of pictures of all different animals. They are mostly cats and dogs but there are also other animals including birds, iguanas and fish. The second set of pictures are all of my cat, Duchess. Then there are 16 cards with a picture for students to write a response of what they think the animal could be saying. Card 1: Menu page Card 2 - 18: Labeled 1 – 18. Pictures of Duchess along with other cats, dogs, and some other animals including a pelican, hen and iguana. Card 19 - 44: Labeled A-Z. Four pictures per page of my cat Duchess from when she was a kitten through 3 years old. Page 45 - 60: Picture of one animal and a speech bubble. Text box for students to write their own thoughts.
