Description: Students work to create graphs which they can then interpret and use to answer questions. This activity will help them develop key skills around graphing data and interpreting graphs. Skills: *Creating a graph- students drag and drop all of the pictures in the box on the right side of the card into the correct columns in the graph. *How many?- Students are asked to tell how many items there are in a given category. *Students are asked to tell which item has the most and which item has the least. 1.MD.C.4 Organize, represent, and interpret data with up to three categories; ask and answer questions about the total number of data points, how many in each category, and how many more or less are in one category than in another. K.MD.B.3 Classify objects into given categories; count the numbers of objects in each category and sort the categories by count.
