Description: This is a fun, interactive game for practicing simple addition stories and writing equations to ten. FOCUS: The focus of this deck is ADDITION FACTS TO 10. There is a total of 45 cards in this deck. HOW TO PLAY: 1. Students read the simple word problem. Vocabulary is limited for early readers. 2. Students drag the correct number of fish into the fishbowl. 3. Students type the missing numbers and solve the equation by counting the fish they dragged into the bowl. 4. When students click SUBMIT, they can immediately see if the equation is correct. If not, students repeat the process to correct their answer. USING BOOM CARDS: Boom Cards are digital, paperless task cards that focus on a specific skill. The cards are interactive, self-checking, and very easy to use. They can be used on desktop computers, phones and tablets both in the classroom and for Distance Learning.
