Description: There are 48 minimal pairs for velar fronting included in the game. This game can be played with several people, but 2-4 is best. Step 1: Decide which player will go first, second, etc. Player 1 selects an image in the grid, names it (or formulates a phrase/sentence). That image is then dragged to the bag to deposit. Step 2: Each player takes turns naming an image and moving the card to the bag. The first player to locate the conversation heart in the grid earns a point. Step 3: Tally the number of hearts located by each player. The player who locates the most conversation hearts is the winner. Since there are an even number of cards, there is the potential for a tie. The images are randomized, so you can enjoy a "new" game each time you play.
