Description: This deck includes two fun numeracy games where the child plays the game by: Sorting the red and blue rods in order from smallest to largest. Matching the numbers to the rods. While this is a Montessori activity, MONTESSORI EXPERIENCE AND EXPENSIVE MATERIALS NOT REQUIRED! This activity is suitable for ANY child between the ages of 3-6 years of age! The Direct Aims (purpose) of this deck are: To understand that units form a quantity, yet each number is an entity. To memorize the sequence 1-10. To learn quantities and their names. K.MD.A.2 Directly compare two objects with a measurable attribute in common, to see which object has “more of”/“less of” the attribute, and describe the difference.
