Description
This deck is a fun and engaging way to encourage students to ask on-topic questions and make on-topic comments. It is presented in a game show format, and players can choose a fall category (Pumpkins, Fall Fun, Apples and Halloween) + a point value. To earn the points, the player must provide an on-topic question or comment in response to a social statement. The deck also includes the option of keeping score during game play. VISUAL PROMPTS ON EVERY PAGE! On each page, you will see two yellow tabs, one says Questions and one says Comments. These can be slid to the left to reveal visuals prompts. If the student can generate comments and/or questions independently, these do not need to be revealed. Once revealed, the Questions strip includes visual + written prompts for who, what, where, when, why and how. The Comments strip includes five comments - three encouraging comments (green), one neutral comment (yellow) and one sympathetic comment (red).
