Students drag word snowflakes (CVC words) to the correct snowglobe based on their vowel sounds. Snowflakes are sorted based on short vowel sounds while students read CVC words. 6 words per card to sort into 2 piles -at, -an, -ap, -et, -en, ,-ed, -it, -in, -ip, -og, -ot, -ut, -un, CCSS.RF.K.3C Read common high-frequency words by sight (e.g., the, of, to, you, she, my, is, are, do, does). This activity is perfect for morning reading centers, small group lessons, or homework.
