Description: This is a deck that focuses on the soft sound of the letter G. It includes four different activities. Each card includes audio for the directions and all words. This make this a truly independent activity! The first card of the deck gives a brief overview of the hard and soft sounds of the letter G. The first activity has a picture and a word that names the pictures. Students will click to hear the word pronounced and then click on G or J to show the sound the G is making it the word. There are 8 cards of this skill. The next activity has a word pictured. Students will click to hear the word. They'll then find the correct spelling of the word and click on it. There are 5 cards of this activity. For the next activity students will sort 4 words by their G sound. There are 2 words with the hard G sound and 2 words with the soft G sound. Each word has audio so students can listen to its pronunciation. There are 6 cards of this activity. The final activity has students unscrambled cloud letter tiles to spell the pictured word. There are six cards of this activity. This deck will give your students a great practice of the hard and soft sounds of the letter G. Please check out my hard and soft C deck. It follows the same format as this deck but will give your students practice with the C sounds. This deck is a part of a bundle of hard and soft C & G.
