Description
This card deck provides practice for basic antonyms and synonyms. The individual pages include practice for: Identify Antonyms - 4 game boards Generate Antonyms - 4 game boards Identify Synonyms - 4 game boards Generate Antonyms - 4 game boards Half of the game boards are matching games and half of the games are 'find the hidden' item. Both games include 'fixed' and 'unique' game options. Fixed games are set up for you - you can't make changes. The value in the fixed games is that they are ready to go, lickety split! They also provide students with the game play experience so that they can use the unique games when the time comes. The unique games allow the user to hide the item/s in a different place each game, allowing for longevity of this resource. Use the main menu page to choose your desired practice level and game type. See the game information page for additional details. Linked to each game page is a word list. Because only pictures are provided in the games, the list will help the therapist know what vocabulary was intended. In addition, word lists for Identify tasks include multiple choices from which students can choose the correct response.
