Included is a 10 paragraph reading passage with pre-reading discussion questions, margin notes for main idea and highlighting details. Target many skills/goals with the follow-up activities of sequencing, figurative language (idioms), tier 2 vocabulary (context clues, synonyms & antonyms, sentences), writing/narratives, grammar, pragmatics, and articulation. The questions are all multiple choice and include text evidence (where students have to drag & drop the highlighting onto the text). Total of 68 slides with nice photos.
