Description: Being able to isolate and identify the beginning, medial, and ending sounds (phonemes) is an integral step for students to become strong readers. Your students will love to work on identifying sounds with these fun and engaging phonemic awareness boom cards! Students listen to the sound they need to isolate in the CVC word. Then they identify and slide the counter to the matching position (beginning, medial, or ending sound). This activity is ideal for literacy centers, word work, group work, and distance learning. Audio is included for the sound they need to locate and for each CVC word. Included are 30 self-checking boom cards.
