Description: Students look through different adaptations in Canadian wetlands to determine if each plant or animal has a physical adaptation or a behavioral adaptation. This set has one correct response per card. Each adaptation is underlined on the card. The wording of the card is important because sometimes the plant or animal uses its physical adaptations in its behavioral adaptation. For example-A duck has webbed feet is a physical adaptation, but a duck uses its webbed feet to swim quickly is a behavioral adaptation. This deck was designed to support the Alberta Grade 5 Wetland Ecosystems Unit.
