Set of Talk-and-Play Scenes with many movable images for promoting the use and comprehension of spring-themed vocabulary and other early language and articulation targets within a naturalistic play scene. Choose an appropriate language or articulation target for each scene, or allow the children to naturally communicate their thoughts and then make adjustments in the scene. Some students make also like to say "bye _____" to each item as it is dragged off of the scene. Use one per day or play them all. Butterfly Field: Make a lovely scene with flowers and butterflies and some animal friends. Backyard Bugs: Put insects in different places (on the fence, on the log, on the lily pad, on the branch, on the flower, in the water, in the grass, in the sky, on the cloud, etc. Farm Babies: Baby animals and their parents can go in and out of the barn, can eat hay or drink water. They can get mixed up and play tag. Mountain wildflowers: place lots of flowers all around the meadow. Rainy day: Give everyone an umbrella. Make people walk around in the rain and sing or dance. Watering plants: Use the watering can to water each of the plants growing in the city. Arrange the plants how you like them. Play with the cat and bird. Reading in the park: The people want to sit on benches or under the trees to read. Collect cherry blossoms or put them on people. Rabbit Meadow: The rabbits want to play, run, kick the ball, catch a butterfly and float away into the clouds.
