Description: Build speech and language skills with this Requesting with Sentence Stems activity. This expressive language requesting activity is perfect for enhancing communication and perfect for ABA, speech therapy, or preschool language work. Work on requesting and manding in a FUN and inclusive way! This simple activity teaches a student, using audio and Boardmaker™ symbols, how to request using 2- to 4-word sentence stems when asked “What do you want?” Each slide has a person thinking of something, and the student then drags the words of the sentence to their talking bubble. Teaches how to advocate for needs and wants using verbal or symbol language (PECS™). It also promotes asking for help!
