Area of Combined Rectangles - Yellow and Green

Description: This deck was designed to give students extra practice finding the area of combined rectangles. Each figure has already been split into 2 smaller rectangles. Students will need to find the area of the yellow rectangle, find the area of the green rectangle, and then add the two together for the total area. If your students are ready for more of a challenge, I have a similar deck that contains completely white figures that students will need to mentally split into two smaller rectangles. This deck is included as part of a bundle.
