Description: This rhythm assessment comprises 20 cards featuring patterns of a beamed 8th note and two 16th notes. Additional notes include half notes, quarter notes, beamed eighth notes, and quarter rest rhythms. Students engage by listening to rhythmic examples and selecting a corresponding rhythm that aligns with the played pattern. Each card has three rhythms to choose from, and the deck is easy enough to assign with a sub. It's also great as a centers activity! The cards are randomized so that students will not be able to memorize the order of the cards.
