Description
Looking for ways to elicit language and expand utterances with early communicators or AAC users? Spin, Say and Build Decks are perfect for doing just that! I have created 2 decks meant to be used together (purchase as a discounted bundle). One is the "activity deck." In this deck the therapist/teacher can select a sentence level and the student say the sentence that corresponds to sentence strip, then build the character/object. The other is the "spinner deck" which selects parts for the student to build at random. This adds an element of surprise and fun! You can use both decks side by side in your browser by opening 2 windows or 2 tabs. You could also use one on a computer and one on an iPad! Check out my tutorial for how to use both decks on my YouTube channel: Let's Build Language. Activity Deck Includes: - 3-, 4- and 5-word sentence strips for "Put on" - 3-, 4- and 5-word sentence strips for "I want" - 3-, 4- and 5-word sentence strips for "I need" - 3- and 4-word sentence strips for "I see" (drag to reveal) - Build a cupcake without a sentence strip - Build a party scene around cupcakes with draggable items You can work on so many targets other language targets with this activity! You can target following directions by giving the student directives for building the item, describing using prepositional concepts, commenting and more.
