Teach special education, elementary, middle or high school students how to respond to text messages from friends with appropriate social skills! This Boom activity was made for students with disabilities (autism, intellectual disabilities, down syndrome, etc.). This can be used for in person, virtual, remote or distance learning class. Useful for speech therapy, life skills or anyone teaching social skills, technology skills, or how to have a virtual conversation. In this level, use the errorless teaching method to reinforce how to correctly respond to a text message. Students drag the correct answer, from a set of 3 choices. 2 choices are colored red. The correct choice is colored green. Use Level 2 for the same questions (with no colored prompts but same answers) or Level 3 for open ended responses. Discussion around why the green answer is correct is encouraged.
