Description: ***For a deck without 'they' as a 3rd person singular form, see The Listen, Read and Choose version.*** These cards will help your students practise present continuous short forms and racquet sports vocabulary. Audio is in Scottish Standard English and includes: swimming, karate, badminton, tennis, horse riding, golf, gymnastics, diving, table tennis and yoga The children listen and read then choose the correct form. There are 3 series included that you can select from the menu: 1. 3rd person singular (30 cards) - Focus is on identifying the vocabulary. Pronouns 'she', 'he' and 'they' are included. This allows you to represent non-binary people in a natural way and helps make your learners aware that 'they' can be used for singular use too. 2. 3rd person plural (22 cards) - Focus is on identifying the vocabulary. Learners become familiar with 'they' to represent more that one person. 3. 3rd person mixed forms (36 cards) - Focus is on identifying the vocabulary AND choosing the correct short form. They will have to recognise the form used in the question and select the correct short answer. Every item includes an audio option that activates on click. This means that you can use it to check or model pronunciation and makes it accessible to learners who are developing literacy skills. Once learners are familiar with the language items you can turn it into a game and see how quickly they can complete each set.
