Description: This set of Boom Cards has students practice their typing skills with real world relevant scenarios. Four different levels of activities are provided, each focusing on a different skill set and typing theme. Since it is important for students to be able to fill out forms accurately as an adult, these activities simulate students practice filling out some basic parts of a form through a typing simulation. The four areas students will practice typing are names, birthdays, addresses, and passwords. In the birthday section, students will have to enter dates using the mm/dd/yy format. In the passwords section, students will practice using special characters that they might need to use when creating their own passwords in the future for websites. Each activity emphasizes accuracy and helps keep students engaged in an age-appropriate and meaningful fashion.
