Description: ***This is part of a larger preschool curriculum being developed. Subjects for each week will include decks for ELA, Math, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and a fun deck. Some weeks will have a bonus deck for building language skills, primarily aimed at early learners and/or special education students. Check the ABA in School store for additional decks as they are completed. This deck is Preschool Week 1 ELA Receptive Rhyming words; easy difficulty — words that don't rhyme include one simple sounds word and one compound (very different) word. Each slide shows two pictures, audio words, a hidden written word (in case audio isn't working and an adult is assisting), and a YES/NO selection choice. Student clicks on the audio clue to hear each word and then decides if the two words rhyme or not. Rhyming is not only important for learning to read but is an essential skill in language development. This is a great auditory discrimination skill, as well. Audio directions included.
