This set of 24 task cards will give your students practice with adding mixed numbers with common denominators. After adding the mixed numbers, students will create a number bond as a strategy to rename the improper fraction as a whole number and a fraction. Students will use the number bond to help them rename the answer as a mixed number. Students do not need to rename the fraction into simplest form. All cards will have a fraction with a sum greater than 1. Named fractions are within the 4th grade standards- denominators of 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 are used. ⭐This download is the AUDIO version.
