This fun and engaging Valentine deck will have your students practicing ten more and ten less! There are 3 different activities and 30 cards. It aligns with the math standard 1.NBT.5. In the first activity students will be arranging conversation heart numbers into boxes by skip counting by tens. The first number in the box will start them off and they'll skip count by tens from there. In the second activity, students will be finding the number that is ten less and ten more that a number in the middle heart. They will drag the chocolate candy numbers to the correct spot to complete the task. In the final activity, students will be looking at a target number and adding ten and subtracting ten. To answer they'll be dragging Valentine cupcake numbers to the correct spots. This activity will help your students to build a stronger number sense.
