Description: R Controlled Vowels Activity for Spelling Bossy R Words (AR, ER, IR, OR, UR) This is a great phonics activity for teaching and revising R-controlled vowels and the spelling of Bossy R words. Five cards are included (in random order) for each of the Bossy R letter combinations- ar, er, ir, or, ur. Students will look at the picture and then click the correct letters (from four options) to complete the word. When the student clicks the correct letter combination, the following page will show the picture again with the word written in full to really reinforce the correct spelling.
