Description
98 cards targeting initial /l/ and /r/ words for children exhibiting gliding. This deck is specifically designed for the cycles approach, an evidence-based phonological intervention. Target words are categorized by vowel contexts that facilitate the suppression of lip rounding, including front/open vowels /æ/, front/mid-closed vowels /I/, /i/, /e/, and back/open vowels /ɑ/ and /ʌ/. Cards include prerecorded "auditory bombardment" cards for each phoneme with opportunities for over 100 trials per target. Students play through each card as they say and drag target words to their "homes" for at least 10 trials per card.
