Description: Emma and Odie is the newest interactive storybook in my series, Apraxia Stories. Apraxia stories are designed to facilitate phrase building using early words with simple syllable shapes and early developing consonants. Each page features target phrases in bold at the top of the page, and grammatically correct text at the bottom for helpers to model and expand language. The interactive format allows students to drag items on the pages while practicing the target words and phrases. This resource features words comprised of early developing consonant sounds in simple word shapes, an essential component in the treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech. It tells the story of a girl playing with her dog. Students follow directions to drag images across the pages while practicing target words and phrases.
