Description
This reading comprehension deck includes a passage on Celebrating Black History, recorded vocabulary, highlighting activities to highlight text evidence, and comprehension questions. Students will be directed to try again on a new slide if they get a question wrong. They will rehighlight the correct answer and reanswer the question for extra practice. They are encouraged to read the passage three times to practice fluency. This passage may need to be practiced with first graders before they read it on their own. 2nd and 3rd Graders should be able to complete the activities independently depending on their levels.
