Description: Students practice identifying poetic devices and figurative language using these self-correcting cards. This set of 30 cards can be used for bell ringers, independent practice, group work, or stations. Each card contains an excerpt (~4-10 lines) from a classic poem. Students are given ten possible poetic devices to identify. Most poems contain examples of 3-5 devices.
